Contract: Secondment or Fixed Term Contract ending 31.03.2027
Directly responsible to: VRU Director
Directly responsible for: Range of managers across the VRU including
but not restricted to – Delivery Managers in Education, Health, Localities, Criminal Justice and Exploitation.
Working Pattern: Hybrid working with at least 2 days week in Birmingham.
Location: Hybrid working with the expectation to attend Lloyd House, Birmingham, B4 6NQ at least 2 days a week.

The Violence Reduction Partnership is an alliance of organisations working together to reduce violence within the West Midlands. We are seeking an experienced and motivated VRP Manager to join the multi-agency team which is hosted by the Police and Crime Commissioner to play a key role in delivering the West Midlands Violence Reduction Strategy. You will be leading and working alongside people from a wide range of disciplines, organisations and backgrounds, and hold responsibility for supporting them to work together effectively.
Working closely with the VRP Director, you will help drive a coordinated, evidence-based approach to reducing serious violence across the region, ensuring compliance with the Serious Violence Duty and supporting strong partnership working at both regional and local levels.
You will provide inspirational and strategic leadership and direction to senior managers working within the VRP and will support leaders across the organisations that comprise the VRP. You will be committed to reducing inequality across the region, be comfortable delivering in line with a public health approach and be a champion of equality, diversity and inclusion within the organisation.
You will have a demonstrable track record of organisational effectiveness, performance and continuous improvement. You will have experience in maximising funding sources and identifying funding opportunities, whilst managing large budgets, tracking progress, identifying risk and opportunities.
